Eligibility for

Be above 18 years of age
Meet the basic education requirement
Have a proper business plan
Your business must have a positive impact on the economy of Germany
Your business activity must be driven by a need in the area or an economic interest
There must be an economic interest in your business activity or a regional need
Your profession must be financially advantageous or needed in Germany
You must be able to secure your finances in order to succeed in your business idea
If you are older than 45, you need to have evidence of sufficient retirement funds
You need to make enough money each year to live comfortably, which is at least €9,000

After three to five years of successful operation, you can apply for a settlement permit, which allows you to live in Germany indefinitely.
